The Best Cauliflower Hash Browns

Ingredients


  • 1 head big cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons  olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon  dried basil
  • ½ cup  parmesan cheese (fifty five g)
  • ⅓ cup  sparkling chives, thinly sliced (15 g)
  • ½ teaspoon  black pepper
  • three cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon  salt, divided
  • dipping sauce, of your choice

Preparation


  1. Preheat oven to four hundred°F (two hundred°C).
  2. Using a rough grater, grate the cauliflower until the complete head has crumbled down into small bit.
  3. Transfer the cauliflower bits to a bowl and sprinkle over a ½ teaspoon of the salt. Mix the cauliflower to comprise the salt and allow take a seat for 20 mins to attract out moisture.
  4. Transfer the soaking cauliflower to every other bowl lined with a huge towel. Wrap the towel closed and squeeze so that each one of the extra liquid is strained.
  5. Transfer the cauliflower again into the first bowl used and mix with the cheese, chives, garlic, olive oil, basil, black pepper, eggs and closing ½ teaspoon of salt.
  6. Turnover a massive roasting tray and line with parchment paper - this allows prevent burning on the bottom of the hash browns. Divide the cauliflower combination into 6 even quantities, location at the tray, and shape into hash browns.
  7. Bake for 35-forty mins, till golden brown.
  8. Let the hash browns cool for about 15 minutes until they've set.
  9. Serve with preferred dipping sauce.
  10. Enjoy!
